What my kitchen means to me, and why I live in it…
After finding myself cooking at as young as age 9 I have worked in the restaurant industry most of my life from being a caterer, executive chef from small dinner house’s to large cooking establishments.
From being inspired by chefs at a young age such as Paul Bocose, James Beard, Julia Child’s to now look up to Bobby Flay, Thomas Keller and others as I have realized my deep interest comes from foods from the Northern region of Italy and seafood’s from New England and the southwestern influence that takes me places in the kitchen to inspire me to new dishes.
From have being blessed with my gift I spend most of my time in the kichen always looking for the next “cutting edge” foods with combining some of the old “classics” that puts me in the mood to create.
After creating my first cookbook “Small Bites” that shows some of my favorite appetizer on small plates type foods, I’m now inspired by doing some foods that I have experienced and cooked for my friends, family and clients along my way.
I hope to get a kick out of this book by sharing with others where I look forward to put a smile on someone’s face through cooking.
